Monthly mock exams in the IB and IGCSE formats, for students on international curricula
Nansu Juku Mock Exams are monthly online mock exams for students studying Cambridge (Years 6–9), IB MYP and IGCSE. MYP and Cambridge are held on the third Saturday of every month, and IGCSE on the Sunday after (first: Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026).
Questions in the real exam format: MYP papers follow the IB format and level, and IGCSE papers follow the IGCSE format and level, based on past papers (Mathematics 0580, English 0500 or 0510). IGCSE covers Mathematics and English only, with the same papers and timings as the real exams (Mathematics Extended: Papers 2 and 4, 2 hours each / Core: Papers 1 and 3, 1 hour 30 minutes each; English 0500: Paper 1 Reading and Paper 2 Writing, 2 hours each; English 0510: Paper 1 Reading & Writing, 2 hours). The 0510 Paper 2 Listening is not included. Scores are combined with the real weightings, so we also return a predicted grade for each subject.
Results: answers are marked against each exam's mark scheme, and we return a report with scores and weak points by subject and guidance on what to study next. Use it to see where you stand, in the IB and IGCSE/A-Level formats.
Fees: ¥1,050 per subject (tax included), plus a one-off registration fee of ¥2,100 (tax included). Payment is by credit card in Japanese yen only. Free for current Nansu Juku students.
How to apply: if this is your first time, use "Sign up" on this page. You will need the student's name, school and year group, and email addresses for the student and a parent. After payment is confirmed, we issue Nansu Juku portal accounts for the student and the parent. From the second time, and for current students, apply from "Events" in the parent portal.
Deadline: 23:59 (Japan time) on the Thursday before the third Saturday. The same applies to IGCSE.
