All fees in Japanese yen, tax included. Enrolment fee ¥20,000 (one-time). Every course includes daily personal homework, our bilingual textbooks, the practice app and a monthly online parent meeting.
50-minute lessons, four a month. Choose lessons in English or Japanese and build the arithmetic foundations properly.
60- or 90-minute lessons, four a month. Builds the maths foundation that IGCSE sits on.
90-minute lessons, four a month, taught in English. Maths (0580 / 0606) at the core; choose sciences, English and business subjects alongside.
90- or 120-minute lessons, four a month, taught in English. Fully individual support through the application years.
Two-hour lessons, four a month. Covers both Mathematics AA and AI, with support for the Exploration (IA).
Nansu Juku is not a once-a-week lesson. Lesson, homework, submission, marking and the weakness log complete one cycle every week, and that record decides the next lesson.
The tutor builds the lesson around the school's progress, the latest marked work and where the student got stuck. Lessons are recorded and reviewed by head office to decide the next step.
Homework goes out on lesson day. The tutor and head office write a week's worth for this one student and send it in a single batch. It is never a generic year-group worksheet.
Bilingual worksheets (PDF) and in-app practice, used for different things: arithmetic and vocabulary are drilled in the app, written working and proofs are done by hand.
The student photographs their work and submits it from the app. No paper handover, no postage.
Each question is returned as: answer → explanation (Step 1, 2, 3…) → check → tip → common mistakes. Written in both languages.
A correction is not the end. We record which unit and which idea caused the error, and the next homework and the next lesson are built from that record.
Parent, student and head office review the month together and set next month's targets. Head office sits in; it is not left to the tutor alone.
What was covered, what was mastered, where the student struggled, and next month's goals, in writing.
Almost everything is written in-house. Units are re-ordered to the school's curriculum and presented in English and Japanese side by side. Materials are included in the fee; there is no extra charge.
Rather than following a shop-bought textbook, we use our own units re-ordered to match each school's curriculum. Each runs concept → worked example → practice, with solution patterns and common pitfalls written in. Text, answers and explanations are all in English and Japanese.
For IGCSE, A-Level and IB we use booklets of real past papers with the official mark schemes and our own independently checked explanations. Both full-paper practice by year and topic-filtered practice are available.
A 10-mark check test at the end of every chapter measures retention. Before school tests, head office writes a predicted paper (mock) for the exact range being examined.
Primary students also use Japanese practice series such as Ikushinsha's Hope. If the school sets a textbook or workbook, we follow its pace too.

Notifications go to both the student and the parent. On iPhone and iPad they only arrive once the app is added to the home screen (an iOS restriction); the app walks you through it.
Anything outside the lesson goes to head office, not the tutor: materials, homework, university plans and scheduling are all handled in one place.
Tutors concentrate on teaching. Questions about materials, homework, marking and university plans go straight to head office. If the tutor changes, your contact and the whole record stay the same.
WhatsApp for anything urgent; the app or email (info@yabiku-edu.com) for anything you want on record. Whichever channel you use, head office receives it and passes it to the tutor if needed.
Request them in the app; head office coordinates with the tutor and confirms. Dates are never fixed in a private chat with the tutor where nothing is recorded.
