A continuing course for Year 12–13 A-Level students. Pure, Mechanics and Statistics taught in depth, in English, aimed at the grade that decides a university offer. UK, other overseas and Japanese university applications are all supported.

Review of returned work
Submitted work is checked line by line against the official mark scheme wording to find whether marks went to method, arithmetic or notation.

Unit teaching (the textbook chapter)
From how each definition and theorem arises, into worked examples and solution patterns, including how each paper tends to ask it.

Past-paper practice
Topic drills to fix the patterns; in the final stretch, whole papers by year under exam timing.

Plan updated from the application backwards
Target universities, required grades and exam dates set what must be done by next week, revised every lesson.

Fees
A-Level is charged by the hour. Choose 90- or 120-minute lessons, four a month. All prices are in Japanese yen, tax included.

- Twice a week is double the above. Subject mix and lesson count are designed at the consultation around the target university and current level.
- The medical-school course is taught in 2-hour lessons at ¥9,000 / hour, combined with the medical add-on (research and shortlisting, past-paper analysis and bespoke materials).
- Options such as daily homework and online materials are explained at the consultation.
- Enrolment fee ¥20,000 (one-time).
After you enrol, every week runs like this
Nansu Juku is not a once-a-week lesson. Lesson, homework, submission, marking and the weakness log complete one cycle every week, and that record decides the next lesson.

Lesson (Zoom, one-to-one)
The tutor builds the lesson around the school's progress, the latest marked work and where the student got stuck. Lessons are recorded and reviewed by head office to decide the next step.

A week's homework, set the same day
Homework goes out on lesson day. The tutor and head office write a week's worth for this one student and send it in a single batch. It is never a generic year-group worksheet.
- 03
Worksheets and the app
Bilingual worksheets (PDF) and in-app practice, used for different things: arithmetic and vocabulary are drilled in the app, written working and proofs are done by hand.

Submit by photo
The student photographs their work and submits it from the app. No paper handover, no postage.

Marking and feedback come back
Each question is returned as: answer → explanation (Step 1, 2, 3…) → check → tip → common mistakes. Written in both languages.

Mistakes are logged as weaknesses
A correction is not the end. We record which unit and which idea caused the error, and the next homework and the next lesson are built from that record.
Online parent meeting
Parent, student and head office review the month together and set next month's targets. Head office sits in; it is not left to the tutor alone.
Written report
What was covered, what was mastered, where the student struggled, and next month's goals, in writing.

Homework, submissions, marking, records and the schedule live in one app for the student. Parents see exactly the same.

This week's tasks in one list. Photograph, submit, and read the marking and explanations in place.
Bookshelf
Your textbooks, problem sets and past-paper booklets, always open. Lesson handouts stay here too.
Practice
Unlimited arithmetic and vocabulary drills. The app records how many you did and where you slipped.
Check tests
Chapter check tests matched to the textbook. Results feed straight into the weakness log.
Mastery map
Shows how much of each unit is secure, as a percentage, calculated from what you actually solved rather than a feeling.

Anything outside the lesson goes to head office, not the tutor: materials, homework, university plans and scheduling are all handled in one place.

Tutors concentrate on teaching. Questions about materials, homework, marking and university plans go straight to head office. If the tutor changes, your contact and the whole record stay the same.
App, WhatsApp or email
WhatsApp for anything urgent; the app or email (info@yabiku-edu.com) for anything you want on record. Whichever channel you use, head office receives it and passes it to the tutor if needed.
Make-up lessons and schedule changes
Request them in the app; head office coordinates with the tutor and confirms. Dates are never fixed in a private chat with the tutor where nothing is recorded.
Monthly meeting and written report
Every month, without fail, parent, student and head office compare notes on progress. It exists so that a term never slips by unnoticed.
